How we do it

We at Oxypura thrive on ensuring the wellbeing and safety of people by providing a range of high-quality reusable face masks consisting of 4 layers of ultra-protection. Oxypura has been a renowned name in Sri Lanka as a filtering and reusable face mask for over 15 years. With a patented design, Oxypura reusable face masks protected consumers from industrial, agricultural, and vehicle emissions.

We launched our very first range of reusable face masks in the year 2006 for industrial and agricultural use with an activated carbon filter. We then ventured into manufacturing reusable face masks suitable to filter vehicle emissions and fine dust particles which were widely used by bike riders.

With the COVID-19 global pandemic, Oxypura developed and launched Oxypura CARE, a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by offering a locally-owned and locally-manufactured face covering as the preferred choice of PPE for Sri Lankans.

Oxypura Face Masks are manufactured in compliance with European standards combining local technology with superior raw material, alongside our very own Sri Lankan coconut shell-based activated carbon. Our product range is tested by a number of local and international laboratories and we are proud to be the only brand in Sri Lanka with a reusable face mask that has a Virus Filtration Efficiency greater than 98% and Bacteria Filtration Efficiency greater than 99%.

From the inception, Oxypura masks protects passionate motorcycle riders, industrial workers, and farmers from harmful emissions. During Covid-19 global pandemic Sri Lanka followed a strict code of conduct which demanded the people to practice proper safety protocol. On the front end of these operations were Sri Lanka Tri-Forces, Police, Medical Officers, and the entire Medical Staff. We at Oxypura ensured our heroes are safe by donating more than 10,000 activated carbon masks and providing proper training for users.
